Kick-Off Party
Mark your calendar for the official kick-off of the Sandestin Gumbo Festival weekend with a traditional shrimp boil at Hammerhead's Bar & Grille. Enjoy a southern tradition with fresh gulf shrimp, corn on the cob, sausage, boiled potatoes, and a cup of gumbo ya ya. Live music starting at 4pm.

Dark or Light Roux? Seafood, Sausage, or Chicken? This winter festival favorite is back for its 36th year! Gulf Coast restaurants will compete for the title of ‘Best Gumbo on the Emerald Coast.” Vote for your favorite as the “People’s Choice” winner while celebrity judges deliberate over who will take home the top prize. The afternoon will also feature live music, children’s activities, and The Best Bloody Mary at the Beach competition

Best Bloody Mary on the Beach

The Best Bloody Marys at The Beach competition is back and better than ever! Taste some of the finest bars’ and restaurants’ Bloody Marys on the coast AND you’re the judge!
